Frankel-Silverman

Laurie Frankel and Robert Silverman
were recently married at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield. Rabbi Harold Loss
and Cantor Harold Orbach officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Herman
Frankel and Barbara Frankel, both of
West Bloomfield. The groom is the son
of Sidney Silverman of Oak Park and
the late Lorraine Silverman.
Susan Aminoff, dear friend of the
bride, was the maid of honor. Blake
Silverman, the groom's son, was the best

Clara and Lou Selik of West
Bloomfield celebrated their 60th wed-
ding anniversary at a dinner party on
Nov. 24. Attending were their children
and their spouses, Dr. Richard and Teri
Selik of Atlanta, Ga.; Elin and Barry
Becker of Huntington Woods; and Dr.
Marilyn and Eric Berkley of
Farmington Hills. Also attending were

grandchildren Melissa Selik, a student
at Rice University; Kate Becker, a stu-
dent at Oberlin College; Sarah Berkley,
a student at Michigan State University;
and Michael Selik and Jaime Berkley,
both in high school, as well as other
close members of the family. The Seliks
will continue to celebrate with a cruise
to Australia and Asia during the winter.
