On Nov. 18, Miriam Lachman
Hamburger celebrated her 90th
birthday.
Miriam and her husband Sam
Hamburger were early philan-
thropists in the Detroit Jewish com-
munity.
She has been a member of the
board of governors of the Jewish
Welfare Federation and its Capital
Needs Committee, the board of

In recent years, she endowed the
