Shoshana Ben Ozer, Beth Shalom's
religious school director, its goal is to
build friendship between the students
and the seniors.
Working on the plaster hands was
the third of 10 joint activities planned
for this year.
"We wanted a real relationship
between the students and the seniors,
Ad that's what has happened," Ben
Ozer said. "It has a life of its own now."
Students are sending "their" seniors
cards between the monthly meetings,
and worrying about their health.
