JCC Offering World Travel The Jewish Community Center's trav- el department will offer day trips, overnight excursions and cruises for the new year. The JCC will lead a trip to see Les Miserables at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at Detroit's Fisher Theatre. The bus will leave the JCC in West Bloomfield at 5:45 p.m. and the JCC in Oak Park at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $62 for JCC members and $67 for non-members. A trip to Miami Beach with accommodations at the Saxony Hotel is planned for Jan. 3-17. Guests may extend to Jan. 24. Two-and three-week trips to Arizona are planned for February. Travelers may pick from Scottsdale or Tucson. An extended trip is scheduled from Feb. 12-March 4 to Tucson and Palm Springs, Calif. A cruise on the Orinoco River in South America is planned for March 1-13. Ports of call include Ft. Lauderdale, San Juan, Barbados and St. Thomas. The department will offer a safari in Kenya followed by a cruise to Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Greece April 25-May 9. Registration is being taken for a spring trip to Italy May 7-18.
