Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of Michigan, and
the Jewish Resource Center of the
University of Michigan, is beginning
a new season of educational lectures
and programs at college campuses in
metro Detroit.
On Wednesday, Nov. 15, Rabbi
Avraham Jacobovitz will visit the
University of Michigan's law and
business schools as well as the Jewish
Resource Center. At 5 p.m., there
will be a deli dinner at the U-M
Business School. The rabbi will
speak on "The Symphony of Jewish

• Also on Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m.,
the rabbi will deliver a lecture on
"Interdating, Intermarriage and
Racism" at the Jewish Resource
Center, 1335 Hill Street, Ann Arbor.

p.m., Rabbi Jacobovitz will speak at
Cooley Law School in East Lansing
on "Whose Jerusalem? An Apolitical

Gallery Visit

The Jimmy Prentis Morris Building
of Jewish Community Center is
sponsoring a trip to the Janice
Charach Epstein Gallery to see the
exhibit "Tradition With a Twist:
Contemporary Fiber Arts"
Wednesday, Dec. 13. The gallery is
inside the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield.
The gallery's fourth annual quilt
and fiber exhibit features work by 26
artists from around the country.
The bus will leave the JCC in
Oak Park at 9:30 a.m. and return at
11:30 a.m. Transportation costs $2
and must be paid directly to the
JCC. Touring the exhibit is free. .
