Teaching Kids to Ski
is Our Business

Celebrating our 26th Season!

Shown at the JARC home dedication are Rabbi Harold Loss, Gracie Gilbert, Joyce
Keller, Shirley and Sam Gilbert, Grant Gilbert, Dan Gilbert, David Katzman,
Jennifer Gilbert, Nicholas Gilbert and Jim Zack.

Members of the community gathered in
Farmington Hills on Sept. 24 to dedi-
cate the Jewish Association for
Residential Care's new Gilbert/Katzman
home.
Purchase of the home was made pos-
sible by a gift from Shirley and Sam
Gilbert, Jennifer and Dan Gilbert, Gary
Gilbert and Nancy and David Katzman.
The families also established an endow-
ment fund to ensure on-going operation

of the home. Additional funding has
been secured from the Oakland County
Community Mental Health Authority
and JARC's private fund-raising efforts.
The Gilbert/Katzman home is
JARC'S latest "transition" living space.
The four women who live in the home
will benefit from the structure of a
home setting, yet will enjoy more inde-
pendence than is provided in a tradi-
tional group home.
