died Nov. 2.
He is survived by his son, Daniel
Arden; brother, Sam Arden of San
Diego, Calif.; niece and nephew, Rosetta
and Sheldon; many other nieces and
nephews. Mr. Arden was the beloved
husband of the late Ethel Arden.

FANNIE W. BAZAMAN, 87, of
Farmington Hills, died Nov. 4. Mrs.
Bazaman was the president of the B'nai
B'rith Women, Magnolia Chapter for
three terms. She was active in Henrietta
Szold Hadassah, sisterhood of the
United Orthodox Synagogue. She also
volunteered for the Jewish Home for
Aged.
Mrs. Bazaman is survived by her
daughter, Janet Kessler of West
Bloomfield; sister, Becky Meyer of
Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Charles
and Jane Kessler, Maury and Julie
Kessler; great-grandchildren, Stacy,
Allison, Chelsea, Renee. Mrs. Bazaman
was the beloved wife of the late Bennie
Bazaman.

GERTRUDE BRODSKY, of
Windsor, Ontario, Canada, died Oct.
31. She was a member of
Congregation Shaar Hashomayim and
its sisterhood, a life member of
Hadassah-WIZO and a stalwart mem-
ber and longtime officer of the I.L.
Peretz Study Group.
She is survived by her husband of
64 years, Morris; daughter and sons-
in-law, Eunice and Marshall Silverman
of Oak Park; son and daughter-in-law,
Martin and Elaine of Nepean; grand-
children, Terri Ann, Brenda Sue,
Laurie Alyse, Ari Meir, Sara Fay and
