Barbara Anne Rosen and Andrew
James Ballantine were recently mar-
ried at Congregation Shir Hadash in
Los Gatos, Calif Rabbi Jerry Levy
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Hadassah Rosen of Oak Park and the
late Irving Rosen. The groom is the
son of Harriet Darling of San Jose,
Calif
Gail Hennes of Oak Park, close
friend of the bride, was the maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Susan and
Elizabeth Burdman, the bride's nieces,

and Margo Leathers of San Jose,
Calif, friend of the bride. Best man
was Michael Pelizarri. The grooms-
men were Melvin Rosen, the bride's
uncle, who gave the bride away, and
Arthur Rosen, brother of the bride.
Andy and Barbara were honored to
have close friends, the Gaffneys, and
Deborah and Scott Burdman, sister
and brother-in-law of the bride, par-
ticipate by holding the chuppah.
The couple went on a honeymoon
to Pinetop, Ariz. They now reside in
Sunnyvale, Calif.

Linsey Patricia Beck and Michael
Scott Gold were married recently at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek. Rabbi
Joseph Krakoff and Cantor Chaim
Najman officiated.
Linsey is the daughter of Dr.
Sidney and Sharlene Beck of West
Bloomfield. Michael is the son of Jack
and Loretta Gold of West Bloomfield.
The maid of honor was Courtney
Silvers, sister of the bride. The matron
of honor was Erin Epstein, best friend
of the bride. Bridesmaids included
Denise Feldman, sister of the groom;
Heather Gold, sister-in-law of the
groom; and Kelly Horn, friend of the
bride.
The best man was Eric Gold,
brother of the groom. Groomsmen
included Robert Friedman, Terry

Zucker, David Epstein, Steve LeVine,
Robert Corlin and Steve Dines,
friends of the groom.
The flower girls were Ariel
Feldman and Haley Gold, nieces of
the groom. The ring bearer was
Daniel Feldman, nephew of the
groom. Also participating in the cere-
mony were Geoff Silvers and Robert
Feldman, brothers-in-law of the bride
and groom.
Linsey and Michael were honored
to have her grandmother Sophie
Averbuch and his grandmother Elvira
Ancell participate in the ceremony.
The late Gilbert Averbuch and Lloyd
Ancell were in their thoughts.
Following a rwo-week honeymoon
cruise through the Mediterranean, the
newlyweds reside in West Bloomfield.
