Seventeen students in kindergarten

Congregation Beth Shalom in Oak
Park.
The students are Benjamin Cher,

Gabriel Hessenthaler, Eli Lichterman,
Lilly Morrison, Aaron Pickover, Jordan
Rabens, Yael Reinhold, Phillip Ring,
Glen Sherman, Joshua Sider, Madeline
Warshay and Rachel Zemmol.
During the ceremony, Torah scrolls
were passed from student to student,

blessed the children; and Cantor Samuel
Greenbaum led the parents, children
and congregation in special songs.
