Carolyn Feldman, 21, with her parents Randa and Richard Feldman, displays
a ceiling-gourd in their West Bloomfield sukkah. The Temple Israel family,
which also includes daughter Emily, 16, has built a sukkah each Sukkot for the
last 12 years. "We didn't do it when we were children, but since we became
Reform Jews, we're always looking for new rituals," Randa Feldman says.
