"Uncensored and
Unplugged with Judge
Bernard Friedman" is a pro-
gram for members of the legal
profession hosted by the
Cardozo Law Society, which
provides community members
in the legal profession with
Jewish learning, involvement
and networking opportunities.
In 1988, then President
Ronald Reagan appointed
Friedman as U.S. district
judge for the Eastern District
of Michigan. Prior to that,
Friedman served as a judge in
the 48th district court for six
years. His legal background
spans many aspects of the law,
including acting as city attor-
ney for several cities and being
involved in civil litigation,
criminal prosecutions, arbitra-
tion, negotiations and appear-
ances before administrative
agencies.
David Haron is the
Cardozo Law Society chair.
The breakfast is co-sponsored
by Tau Epsilon Rho Law
Society and International
Association for Jewish Lawyers
and Jurists.
