DMC Sinai Hospital's Program for
Holocaust Survivors and Families will
conduct a photography session 1-3
p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at the Jewish
Community Center's Jimmy Prentis
Morris Building in Oak Park.
Photographs will be taken by a
professional photographer for a pro-
ject that seeks to honor and preserve
for posterity the beauty and richness
of the Holocaust survivors in our
community.

pantry in Michigan, will hold its
10th fund-raising dinner 6 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 30, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
Ruth and Irwin Kahn, strong Yad
Ezra supporters and active commu-
nity members, are this year's hon-
orees.
In addition to their involvement
in Yad Ezra, the Kahns have dedicat-
ed time and effort to other local
causes, including Hebrew Free Loan,
United Jewish Foundation, the
Allied Jewish Campaign, Common
Ground and the Michigan Heart
Association.
Dinner chairs are Ellen and Jim
Labes, Barbara and Steve Tronstein
