lementary-school stu-
dents at Wilson
School in Ferndale
were able to cross off
at least two columns of supplies
from their back-to-school lists
this year.
On Aug. 23, the first day of
classes, each child in kinder-
garten through 5th grade was
given a sturdy, transparent back-
pack filled with crayons, rulers,
pencils, pens, glue sticks, erasers,
spiral notebooks, composition
notebooks, scissors, felt pens and
more.
The items were delivered free
of charge to the public school,

to relieve the financial burden
on Wilson families.

ution. About 20 NCJW mem-
bers participated in the project.
