Maccabi In-Line
Program Expands

The Jewish Community Center is
expanding the Maccabi in-line hockey
program by adding players and teams.
The new Maccabi Development
Program is seeking players age 10-16
for local, inter-JCC and Maccabi corn-
petitions. The program will be based
at the JCC InLine Hockey Center in
West Bloomfield.
A parent information night will be
held 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at the
center. Children are invited to bring
sticks and in-line skates for free, open
skating at the InLine Hockey Center.
Steve Friedman, chairman of the
InLine Center and coach of the
Maccabi team, will speak. Plans call
for Maccabi team members (ages 13-
14 and 15-16) to coach younger chil-
dren. The program is open to boys
and girls.
Refreshments will be served. For
information, call Marshall Shencopp,
InLine Hockey Center general manag-
er, (248) 661-7692.
