Mr. Baum was the loving son of the late Sadye Sherman. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Harriet and Sami Semp of Southfield, Lee and Jeron Frank of Wilmette, Ill.; brother and sister-in-law Danny and Janice Bernstein of Charlotte, N.C. nieces Peninah and Devorah Semp and Bethany and Rayna Bernstein. He was the son of the late Irving and Pauline Bernstein. Interment was in Flint. JESS R. FEILER, 92, formerly of Oak Park of Lauderhill, Fla., died Aug. 30. He joined his father and brothers in establishing a popcorn and soda foun- tain business, which later became a full restaurant and institutional food equip- ment purveyor and eventually one of the leading soft ice cream equipment distributors in the country. He helped found the Michigan Soft Serve Association and the Michigan Fast Food Association and served as its first presi- dent. He is survived by his wife, Jean; brother Paul; children Larry and Barbara, Frank and Debbi, Ronna Cole, Dr. Joel and Jan Kriegel, Bruce Kriegel; grandchildren, Jess and Maggie, Michele and Barry, Mark, Nancy, Larry, Liza and Joel, Daniel and Kimberly, Dayna, Jamie and Ruth, Jeremy and Michelle, Julie Kriegel; great-grandchil- dren Kaylie, Maxwell, Max, Gillian, Bradley, Nicole. He was the husband of the late Ceil Cohen Feiler. DR. MORRIS FINEMAN, 68, of Phoenix, died Sept. 7. Dr. Fineman was on staff at Botsford Hospital and was the medical director of the Chemical Dependency Unit. He was also on staff at Brighton Hospital, was a member of the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association and was a founding member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction. Dr. Fineman is survived by his wife, Janice Fineman; sons Gary Fineman, Mark Fineman of Phoenix, daughter and son-in-law Ruth and Luke Simon of West Bloomfield; stepchildren Fred Sher, Jonathan and Brenda Sher, Michael and Dr. Juli Sher; grandchil- dren Shayna Simon, Andy Simon, Erin Simon, Hannah Sher and brother-in- law and sister-in-law Benny Kaufman and Rose Katz. He was the dear brother of the late Albert Fineman, the late Doris "Dubby" Kaufman and the late Louis Fineman. Interment was at Beth El Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Bertha (Goldstick) Fink of Oak Park; daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Jerry Schlussel of Oak Park; grandchildren Lynn (George) Johnston, Larry (Helen) Schlussel, Barry (Patsy) Schlussel, James (Linda) Furman and Michael (Suzanne) Furman; great-grandchildren Chuck Duzinian, Kenneth and Paul Schlussel, Nathan and Rachel Furman, David Johnston, Samuel, Seth and Abigail Furman.
