James and Carol Line of Sault St. Marie
and James and Margie Starr of Troy
proudly announce the engagement of
their children Rebecca Ellen Line and
Aaron Starr. Aaron is the grandson of
Wolf Gruca of Southfield.
Rebecca and Aaron are graduates of
the University of Michigan, where
Rebecca, originally from Pickford,
Mich., received two bachelor's degrees,
one in Judaic studies and one in ele-
mentary education. She also received a
master's degree in social work with certi-

fication in Jewish communal service.
Aaron received a bachelor's degree in
political science and Hebrew and Jewish
cultural studies.
The couple reside in Cincinnati,
where Rebecca is the director of educa-
tion and programming at Northern
Hills Synagogue and Aaron is studying
to be a rabbi at the Hebrew Union
College-Jewish Institute of Religion.
A June 2001 wedding is planned at
Congregation Shir Tikvah in Troy
