A Sampling of Programs:

Bereavement Support Group for Adults Grieving
the Death of a Parent
Contact Person: Judy Kotzen

Six Monday evenings, 7 to 9 p.m. For adult children
coping with a parent's death. Provides a safe place to
discuss the issues and feelings adult children cope with
and experience when a parent dies.

Caregiver Support Group
Contact Person: Judy Kotzen

Four Thursday afternoons or evenings, 1 to 2:30 p.m.or
7 to 8:30 p.m. This group is for primary caregivers to a
loved one. The goal is to share the burden of the
caregiver role, and to give and get feedback in a
supportive atmosphere.

Children's Bereavement Support Group
Contact Person: Judy Kotzen

Six Monday evenings, 5:45 to 7 p.m. Children who lost
a loved one are placed in age-appropriate groups.
Provides a safe setting to come to some acceptance
and understanding. Also a concurrent parent (or
caregiver) support group.

Spousal Bereavement Support Group
Contact Person: Judy Kotzen

Eight consecutive Tuesday evenings, 7 to 9 p.m. For
men and women grieving the death of their
spouse/partner. Provides an overview of the grieving
experience. Offers a safe place for grieving
spouses/partners to give and get support.

Stress Reduction Workshop
Contact Person: Judy Kotzen

One-session workshop offered regularly throughout the
year, usually from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Helps participants
learn stress-reduction techniques and to implement
them regularly into their lifestyle.
