EVA LAZARE, of West Bloomfield,
died Aug. 21. For many years, Mrs.
Lazare sang with the Detroit Jewish
Folk Chorus.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Saul and Geraldine
Lazare; grandchildren, Mark and
Amy Lazare; great-grandchildren,
Jarett and Cara Lazare. Mrs. Lazare
was the beloved wife of the late
Joseph Lazare; dear sister of the late
Ruth Higer.
Interment at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may

HARRY LEVITT, 86, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 26. He was a
home furnishings salesman as well as
a member of the Knights of
Phythias and the Pisgah Chapter of
B'nai B'rith.
Mr. Levitt is survived by his wife,
Regina "Jeannee" Levitt; daughter,
Patti Shipp of West Bloomfield; son,
Kenneth Lefvitt; grandchildren,
Ryan and Tracy Shipp; sisters-in-law
and brother-in-law, Beatrice
Stillman, Ilene and Sam Babcock.

SAM LOBERMAN, 87, of
Farmington Hills, died Aug. 27.
He is survived by his son and

Loberman of Farmington Hills;

Berdy of Beverly Hills; brother,
Harry Loberman of Clairmont,

jeoffrey Berdy, Rebecca Berdy,

DAVID MAYLER, 83, of Oak Park,
died Aug. 26. He was a retired engi-
neer in Russia.
He is survived by his daughter
and son-in-law, Helen and Michael
Frankstein of West Boomfield;
grandchildren, Dmitry and Olga
Frankstein; brother, Osip Mayler of
Russia. Mr. Mayler was the beloved
husband of the late Lidiya
Vitenshteyn.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

HARRY MILLER, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 22. He was a
self-employed roofing contractor
and owner of Birwood Roofing
Company. From 1935-1951, Mr.
Miller owned
Miller's
Delicatessen
and was
known as the
"Corned Beef
King." From
1942-1945, he
was stationed
in the
Philippines
and New
Guinea, where
Harry Miller
he was awarded
three bronze
stars. He was a member of Temple
Israel and its brotherhood,
Downtown B'nai B'rith Lodge,
Perfection Lodge and the Crescent
Shrine Club.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife,
Peggy Miller; son and daughter-in-
law, Dr. Laurence and Carole Miller
of Bloomfield Hills; daughters and
sons-in-law, Margi and Daniel
Werber of Oak Park, Suzi and David
Wiener of Oak Park; grandchildren,
Nicole and Bobby Muchnick, Jared
Miller, Joanna Miller, Geoffrey
