Party guests
made ice cream sundaes and danced
to the music of the Ed Pelts Band.
The seniors danced with their chil-
dren and grandchildren, the staff
and each other.
The JAS Friends and Family
Society regularly plans activities like
the ice cream social. The seniors also
enjoy pizza dinners, a Chanuka
party, concerts and movie trips.
Winer said the three-near-old pro-
gram is supported by individuals
who want to perform the mitzvah of
contributing to the recreational,
educational and cultural needs of
JAS senior residents. Membership is
open "to anyone interested in having
some fun and enhancing the quality
of life of seniors," she said. ❑
