Whitney Lee (Leah) Aidenbaum
will be called to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on
Saturday, Sept. 2,
at Temple Beth El.
She is the daughter
of Connie and
Guido Aidenbaum
of West Bloomfield
and sister of Ashley
and Max.
Whitney's proud
grandparents are Simon and Rose
Aidenbaum and Constance Shoup.
Whitney is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. She is active in
dance and enjoys playing the violin.
Her mitzvah projects included vol-
u nteering at the Temple Beth El
summer camp three days a week all
summer and playing Yiddish tunes
on Thursday mornings for the resi-
dents of the Fleischman Residence
in West Bloomfield.

Caitlin Brooke Bloom will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah at
Temple Israel on
Saturday, Sept. 2.
She is the daughter
of Randee and Dr.
Robert Bloom and
sister of Ashley and
Zachary. The excit-
ed grandparents are
J oan and Dr.
Gerald Bloom and
Fran and Sol
Penskar.
As part of her mitzvah projects,
Caitlin volunteered for the Jewish
Community Center Child
Development program. An honor
student at West Bloomfield Abbott
Middle School, Caitlin participates
in the performing arts program and
enjoys tennis, acting, singing and
swimming.

Adam Charles Eisenberg will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Sept. 2, at
Congregation Beth
Ahm in West
Bloomfield. Adam
is the son of Jill
and Mark
Eisenberg anal
brother to
Stephanie. The
proud grandparents
are Sarabel Panter
and Dave and Estelle Eisenberg. He
is also the grandson of the late

Benjamin Panter.
Adam is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. He enjoys all
sports and plays soccer for the
Birmingham-Bloomfield Hills
Blazers.
For his mitzvah project, Adam
volunteered at Elan Village in
Southfield where his grandmother
resides.

Emily Rebecca Feldstein will
become a bat mitzvah at Temple
Israel on Friday, Sept. I. She is the
daughter of Theresa
and Dr. Richard
Feldstein and sister
of David and
Rachel. Her grand-
parents are the late
Rose and David
Feldstein and the
late Leona and
Joseph Pavelek.
Attending West
Hills Middle School in Bloomfield
Hills, Emily is interested in creative
writing, singing, volleyball, basket-
ball and soccer as well as attending
Camp Walden. Her most meaning-
ful mitzvah projects were volunteer-
ing at Yad Ezra and preparing food
boxes for distribution to Oakland
County's soup kitchens.

Valerie Miriam Inwald was called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Aug. 26, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. Valerie is the daugh-
ter of Joan and Jay Inwald and sister
of Rachel and David. Proud grand-
parents are Susan
and Samson Inwald
and Betty and Jack
Fleming.
An honor stu-
dent at Berkshire
Middle School in
Birmingham,
Valerie enjoys sum-
mer camp at
Tamarack, flute, softball, figure
skating and theater. Valerie's mitz-
vah projects included volunteering
at the Beaumont Center for
Children's Speech and Language
Disorders and helping prepare meals
at the Salvation Army.

Elliot Jankelovitz of West
Bloomfield will become a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday, Sept. 2, at
Congregation Shaarev Zedek B'nai
Israel in West Bloomfield. Rabbi
Leonardo Bitran will lead services.
