Yaacov Kapen to Amal Ann Raad,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Hausman of Clemson, S.C.
The bride-to-be has a degree in
history from Amherst College and a
law degree from Vanderbilt University
of Law. She is with the New York law

firm of Maloney, Mehlman and Katz.
The groom-to-be has a degree in
economics from Brandeis University
and earned a law degree from Cornell
University Law School. He is
employed by the New York law firm
of Warshaw Burstein Cohen
Schlesinger & Kuth.
A March 2001 wedding is sched-
uled in Greenville, S.C.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brown of West

Isaac Rones, son of Mrs. Rona Rones of

and the late Mr. Steven Z. Rones.
Debbie earned a bachelor of science
degree in education with an early child-
hood endorsement at Eastern Michigan

University. She is employed at the
Stewart Elementary School in Detroit.
Todd earned a degree in hotel and
restaurant management at Michigan
State University. He owns the
Intelligent Chicken restaurant in
Farmington Hills.
A September wedding is planned in
