Waterford, died Aug. 16.

GOLDIE "GERRY" SCHIFF, 84,
of Southfield, died Aug. 20. She
was a past president of the
Woman's Auxiliary of the Jewish
War Veterans and a member of

was the beloved
wife of the late

DR. MARTIN SELIK, 78, of
Southfield, died Aug. 17. Dr. Selik,
a dentist, graduated from
University of Detroit Dental
School. He had been honored as a
"First Citizen of Southfield" by the
city. Dr. Selik was a past commis-
sioner of the Southfield Board of
Health, a member of the Alpha
Omega Dental Fraternity and
OKU Dental Fraternity. In World
War II, Dr. Selik was a pharmacist
mate second class in the Navy.
He is survived by his wife,
Harriet; sons, Joel of Encinitas,
Calif., Scott of Southfield; daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Judi Selik and
Eric Eicher of Royal Oak, Betsy
and Dr. Lawrence Lafond of
Commerce Township; grandchil-
dren, Sean and Sophie Lafond; sis-
ters-in-law, Eleanor Selik, Dorothy
Selik. He was the beloved brother
of the late Norman Selik, the late
Robert Selik, the late Sol Selik and
the late Dorothy Klein.
Interment at Machpleah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the a charity of one's

ROBERT SEYMOUR, 75, of
Oxford, died Aug. 14. An attorney,
he received his bachelor's and mas-
ter's degree from Berkeley
University, his Ph.D. from Harvard
and his juris doctor from the
University of Michigan Law
School. He was a member of the
Michigan Bar Association.
