Jennifer Jill Thurswell and Scott
Alexander Radis were married recently
at Temple Israel. Rabbis Harold Loss,
Paul Yedwab and Joshua Bennett and
Cantor Harold Orbach officiated.
Jennifer is the daughter of Lynn and
Harvey Rubin of West Bloomfield and
Gerald Thurswell of Bloomfield Hills.
Scott is the son of Dorothy Radis of
Northbrook, Ill., and Orrin Radis of
Skokie, Ill.
The maids of honor were Rebecca
Rubin and Lindsey Thurswell, sisters of
the bride. Bridesmaids were Laurie

Greller, Tricia Krefetz, Michelle Lee
Wexler, Cindy Marin, Kelly Parent,
Deborah Radis, Stephanie Radis and
Stephanie Tobin.
The best men were Craig Radis and
Mark Radis, brothers of the groom.
Groomsmen were Joel Baer, David
Ericson, Matthew Gurvey, Layne
Hirsch, Adam Rubin, Robert Shulman,
Jeremy Thurswell and Lawrence
Thurswell.
The newlyweds will reside in
Chicago.

Shapiro Adkins

Nicole Marie Adkins and Steven Sandor
Shapiro were married recently in an
outdoor ceremony at Temple Israel. .
Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Harold
Orbach officiated.
Nicole is the daughter of Martha and
Billy Adkins. Steven is the son of Linda
and Harry Shapiro.
The maid of honor was Stacy
Shapiro, sister of the groom. Natalie
Ray, the bride's cousin, was the junior
bridesmaid. Lawrence Shapiro, the
groom's brother, was the best man.
Groomsmen included friends Cory
Gaffney, Matt Klicka and David
McLnda. The bride's brother, Billy
Adkins, was a junior groomsman.

Flower girls were the bride's cousins
Melissa Holt and Megan Greulich and
the groom's cousin Amanda Prentice.
Lucas Ross, also the groom's cousin, was
the ring bearer.
The bride and groom were honored
to have the groom's grandfather Dr.
Burton Ross say the blessing over the
bread. Grandparents Bernard and
Dorothy Soffin, Eleanore Paulovich and
William and Kathryn Adkins also par-
ticipated in the ceremony as did cousin
Shannon Ross and uncle Lawrence
Paulovich.
The newlyweds honeymooned in
Anguila, British West Indies, and now
reside in in Boston.
