Larry Sills loved kids, and he loved
camp. So, frequently, the young
Phoenix family practice physician
returned home to Michigan to
volunteer for two weeks as camp
doctor at his favorite childhood site
up north.

Thirteen years after his untimely
death, Larry's parents seek to ensure
that his values will be perpetuated.

Through the Millenn jinn Campaign
for Detroirs Jewish Future, Rhoda
and Archie Sills have funded the
Jewish Community Center's Dr. Larry
D. Sills Memorial Golf Classic. Their
endowment gift of $1 million will
enable families of modest means to
send their children to the Center day
camp on scholarship and enjoy other
recreational activities at the JCC.

It will help realize one of the goals of
the Jewish Federation/United Jewish
Foundation Millennium Campaign: to
redevelop and transform the Center as
a focus for informal Jewish education.

And, just as important, it will help
fulfill one young man's dream of
nurturing healthy, happy kids.

THANKS A MILLENNIUM.
