Birthday Golfer

At another golf outing to benefit the
Karmanos community outreach cen-
ter in Dearborn, health reporter Lila
Lazarus of WDIV-TV enjoyed multi-
ple birthday surprises. Volunteer
Shari Franko helped organize the
Aug. 3 event at Dearborn Hills Golf -
Course.
On each hole was a present for
Lila from the Karmanos Center.
Wine, purses, cakes and cards were
just some of the surprises for Lila,
who is a supporter of Karmanos. Her
golf cart was decorated with balloons
and the ever enthusiastic Lila wore a
button reading, "Kiss me, it's my
birthday."
