Install Officers

Congregation Beth Shalom Men's
Club will have its installation of
officers during Shabbat services
Saturday, Aug. 12.
Officers to be installed are Randy
Davidson, president; Don Berlin,
Kenneth Gaynor, Neil Weiner, Jerry
Efros, Seymour Rabotnick, vice pres-
idents; Richard Racusin, treasurer;
and Jack Goldberg and Helmut
Bernard, secretaries.
Trustees are Sandy Danzig,
Charles Gordon, Jack Kahn, Jerry
Kaufman, Michael Levine, Cary
Lieberman, Martin Reisig and
Genrikh Shif.
David Goldis, president of the
Great Lakes Region of the
Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs,
will speak. Rabbi Dal;id Nelson will
be the installing officer.

Beth Ahm Greets
New Clergy

The Sept. 8-10 weekend will fea-
ture the installation of new clergy
and festivities at Congregation Beth
Ahm.
There will be a Kabbalat
Shabbat service 6 p.m. Friday, Sept.
8, in the Ribiat Garden followed by
a Shabbat dinner. The evening will
feature Rabbi Charles Popky in an
ask-your-rabbi session.
Shabbat morning will begin at
8:45 a.m. with the official installa-
tion of Rabbi Popky and Cantor
David Montefiore as the new spiri-
tual leaders of the synagogue. An
extended Kiddush will follow the
service. There will be a family pro-
gram at 5:30 p.m. followed by
Mincha, seuda shilishit and Havdala
on Saturday, Sept. 9.
At 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Beth Ahm
will host an open house for
prospective members and current
members to meet the clergy and
staff. There will be an official dedi-
cation of the congregation's new
name, Beth Ahm, and the new
logo will be unveiled.
Following the ceremonies, at 4
p.m. Cantor Montefiore will be
featured in concert with the Zamir
Chorale.
