Grosfeld Pitches
Forum Issues

Folks watching on C-SPAN recently
may have caught West Bloomfield res-
ident Jim Grosfeld urging the 2000
Democratic National Convention
Platform in St. Louis to expand feder-
al and state hate-crimes legislation,
and adopt stronger gun-control laws.
Grosfeld, representing the Anti-
Defamation League, also called for
maintaining a strong commitment to
Israel, and the separation of church
and state in matters of school prayers,
creationism and vouchers.
