Fields, daughter of Jim and Kathie
Fields of Taylor.
Alan, a graduate of the University of
Michigan at Ann Arbor, is employed as
a technical assistant by the Birmingham
public schools and as a freelancer for the
Palace of Auburn Hills' television

department. He recently completed a
full-length feature film, which he direct-
ed and co-wrote.
Staci, a graduate of Eastern Michigan
University, is a teacher at Farmington
High School and is working on her
master's degree at Wayne State
University.
A September wedding is planned at
the Henry Ford estate.

Club. Rabbi M. Robert Syme, Rabbi
Harold Loss and Cantor Harold
Orbach officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sheila
Berman of Farmington Hills and Gail
and Alby Berman of West Bloomfield.
The groom is the son of Carole and
Melvin Kaftan of Bloomfield Hills.
Julie Niskar and Melissa Roth were
matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were
Lori Barron, sister of the groom; Einav
Stewart, sister-in-law of the bride; Kari
Morrison, cousin of the bride; Rachel

Layne and Lisa Wittenberg.
Mark and Craig Menuck were the
best men. Groomsmen were Marc
Barron, brother-in-law of the groom;
David Gorosh, Bradley Keywell, Joel
Pearlman, Ricky Shulman, Michael
Weinstein and Richard Weitz.
The couple were honored to have
the bride's grandparents Joseph and
Jeanne Morrison and the groom's
grandfather Milton Kogan participate in
the ceremony.
Following their honeymoon in
southeast Asia, the couple will reside in
Birmingham.
