Special to the Jewish News

Masada, Israel
have been on the Teen Mission
2000 to Israel for over two weeks
now, and I have found that theie
are three recurring themes.
Although this trip is about seeing
Israel, it is also about working togeth-
er, pushing yourself and accomplish-
ing goals. In my opinion, the Teen
Mission is best represented by the
climb up Masada.
From the bottom of the 1,200-foot
mountain, I feel the peak to be out of
reach and the climb seems endless. As
we took our first steps onto Masada,
we stared dejectedly at the top, won-
dering if we would ever make it. We
realized then that not only would we
have to push our limits, we would
have to inspire others to do the same.
