He is also

Ron got into the music business
quite by accident ... Veteran rocker
Michael Quatro needed an attorney
for his Quadraphonic Music Corp.
... Ronald was selected and became
so interested he is now its executive
vice president ... Also, Ron is presi-
dent and chief operating officer of a
second recording label, Quatro
Records.
Back when Oak Park had an
open-air ice arena, he was a young-
ster playing hockey in one of its
leagues ... Later, at Wayne State
University, Ron was goalie with the -
Wayne State hockey club that corn-
peted against other college club
teams ... and recently, played center
in the Hockey North America
League.
He is listed as a member in the
American section of the
International Association of Jewish
Lawyers and Jurists ... and was the
first president of the group that is
now Congregation Or Chadash of
Oak Woods ... Ron recently
returned from Strasbourg, France,
attending the conference on anti-
semitism.
PLANS FOR A complete renova-
tion at the restaurant are being
looked at by Sero's on Northwestern
Highway ... the remodeling is slated
for the end of September.
FOLKS LIKE Arthur Sweet,
among others, continue to ask why
Ben Glenner, a former Detroiter
now living in Thousand Palms,
Calif., hasn't been considered for
induction into the Michigan Jewish
Sports Hall of Fame.
As of this year, he has won 13
national handball titles ... and as
recently as two months ago, won the
singles tourney in Orlando, Fla., and
the doubles in Minnesota, for ath-
letes 80 years and older.
Ben is in the Southern California
Hall of Fame ... and the Masters
Hall of Fame ... The latter is auto-
matic after winning 10 titles in the
United States Hall of Fame for
Handball.
