Lynne E. Deitch, attorney and share-
holder with Detroit-based Butzel
Long law firm, has been elected a fel-
low of the College of Labor and
Employment Lawyers. She will be
officially inducted at the college's
annual dinner in New York.
Deitch is the first woman member
and secretary of the executive com-
mittee of Lex Mundi, an association
of independent law firms. She is also
the founder and former co-chair of
the organization's Women in the Law
Committee, an international effort
bringing together won. n attorneys
from around the globe to examine
and discuss issues affecting women in
the legal profession.

Frances Greenbaum of Franklin has
been named The Community House's
Employee of the Year for 2000. She has
been development director for The
Community House, in Birmingham
since 1990, with special attention to
special events and volunteers.

Charles Allen Ornstein has been
named a Washington correspondent
for the Dallas Morning News. _
Ornstein, a graduate of Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit, grad-
uated in 1992 from Harrison High
School in Farmington Hills, where he
was editor of the student publication
Catalyst. He graduated summa cum
laude in 1996 from the University of
Pennsylvania, where he was editor of
the Daily Pennsylvanian.
Ornstein was a finalist for the
Livingston Award in Journalism as an
outstanding writer under age 35.
While in Dallas, he won a Katie
Award for outstanding business jour-
nalism in five southwest states.
