There were literally hundreds there. • Most of them were Orthodox, but some were Conservative and Reform. I found my way down to the Wall and began to pray. When I was done, I looked up and reflected for a minute. I looked around me and all I saw were Jewish people praying. I felt a sense of religious belonging. It did not matter how reli- gious any of us were — we were all Jews. We all believed in God. We all believed in Torah. As I left the Wall, I looked back and thought: We may all feel separated because of our religious affiliations, whether we be Reform, Conservative or Orthodox. But we are all Jews — and . that is what is important. ❑ • But some kids can't. You can change that.
