MAURICE "RED" STOTZKY, 82,
of West Bloomfield, died July 1. He
was a Detroit public school physical
education department head and for
35 years he sold cars for Dexter
Chevrolet and Packer Pontiac.
During World War II, he was a cal-
isthenics instructor, training sol-
diers. He was a member of the
Disabled American Veterans
Commanders Club and of B'nai
B'rith.
Mr. Stotzky is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law, Helene
and Mitchell August of West
Bloomfield; son and daughter-in-
law, Brian and Esther Stotzky of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Scott and Anne August, Todd
August, Ryan August, Lindsay
Stotzky, Renee and Brady Pocock,
Michelle Kay and fiance Rick Cray,
Cheryl and Lenny Kersten; great-
grandson, Stephen August. He was
the beloved husband of the late
