Abuse Clinic

Jewish Family Service has received a
license from the state of Michigan to
provide outpatient treatment and pre-
vention services for substance abuse
patients.
Jewish Family Service also hosts
JAGS (Jewish Alcoholics Chemically
Dependent Persons and Significant oth-
ers) support groups on Tuesdays, 7-8
p.m., at the JFS office in West
Bloomfield, 6960 Orchard Lake, Suite
202.

Temple Emanu-El of Ok Park installed
its lay leadership for the coming year at
Shabbat -services on June 30.
The new officers are: president, Beth
Applebaum; vice presidents, Bruce
Gordon, Robert Olender, Cathy
Litchman, Debra Holzman Silver,
Kathryn Nelson; secretary-treasurer,
Steven Permut; financial secretary, Alan
Kessler; immediate past president,
Glenn Liebowitz.
The new trustees are: Jeffrey Bean,

Judith Greenwald, Jane Hauser, Joseph
Imberman, Mark Kaploe, Kevin Lewis,

college students and recent graduates,
will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July
16, at Parisian of Laurel Park Place in
Livonia.
Hosted by Pro-Detroit, a joint pro-
gram of Jewish Vocational Service (JVS)
and Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit, "Dress for Success" will focus
on the latest business casual and profes-
sional apparel. There is no charge.
