To Irving Rubin, family is everything.

Ask his daughters, Sally Soverinskv and
Ellen Schmier. They'll tell you he's
mentor, role model and friend to his
grandchildren ...his great-grandchildren
...his nieces and nephews ...his cousins
...the whole misbpotha.

They'll tell you he has an unmatched
zest for living and boundless pride in
his Jewishness.

All of the above drove his decision to
make a substantial gift to the Jewish
Community Center through the

Millennium Campaign for Detroit's
Jewish Future, sponsored by the Jewish

Federation and United Jewish
Foundation of Metropolitan Detroit.

The Rubin gift will help fund
construction of facilities for cultural,
educational and entertainment
activities at the JCC on the Eugene and
Marcia Applebaum Jewish Community
Campus in West Bloomfield. The new
east entrance will carry the Rubin name.

But more than that, says Sally, her
father's gift will help ensure the JCC
as "a family place, where kids can go,
where families can be together.

"It's an extension of his life and
his beliefs."

THANKS A MILLENNIUM.
