SPACE for Changing Families will
conduct Rainbows for all Children, a
10-week divorce support group for
children from 5-15 years and their
custodial parent,Wednesday, June 28
through Aug. 10.
This program provides a safe
atmosphere for children to meet in
age-appropriate groups to express and
understand their feelings and receive
support regarding the changes they are
experiencing in their families due to
divorce or separation. At the same
time, their parents meet in a Parent
Education Group that focuses on sin-
gle-parent issues.
The program will meet from 5:45-
7 p.m. at the SPACE for Changing
Families/NCJW office in the
Homestead USA Building, 26400
Lahser Road, Suite 100, Southfield.
The cost is $50 for one child; $40
for each additional child. The fee
includes the parent group. Scholarships
are available. Pre-registration by June
23 is required. For information or to
