ZIP UP THE HOMELESS
For the 11th year, Guys 'N Gals in
West Bloomfield is holding its jeans
trade-in. On June 16, customers can
turn in their old jeans (without holes)
for one new pair at half the retail
price. All jeans collected will be
donated to the homeless in Oakland
County. Lois Levenson, Sheri Stay
and Julie Feldman of Guys 'N Gals,
along with the staff, are committed to
this annual project.
MAKE-A-WISH RACE
The Vitamin Outlet and Jeff Morton,
a professional Grand Prix racecar dri-
ver, have teamed up to raise money for
Detroit's Make-A-Wish Foundation, a
sponsor for Morton's race which grants
wishes to children with life-threatening
illnesses. Morton is scheduled to race
- in the Barber-Dodge Pro Series event
on Sunday, June 18. Levels of contri-
bution per lap range from $20-$100.
"We're very excited to be-involved with
Jeff Morton's racing team and happy to
be raising money for Make-A-Wish,"
