This is more than a building.
It's a dream.

ere is a compelling need in our community for a place where Special Needs children can go and
feel comfortable with friends and family. The nurturing and support of these children directly contributes
to their sense of well-being and growth. Stimulating programs and challenging activities in a specially-
designed environment are critical ingredients in providing opportunities for activity and interaction. It has
been the dream of The Friendship Circle to build this place.

Breaking ground in October 2000 on the Meer Family campus, this community center, playground
and therapy center for special-needs children will also include an endowment which will guarantee a
continuity of quality programming and activities. Through our Campaign for Support, the Friendship
Circle is half-way to it's goal of $4 million. When we reach that goal, we will provide our community's
Special Kids and their families with a place they can call their own...a place where they will feel as com-
fortable as they do in their own backyards. For these children and their families, this is a dream come true.
