book; and those who
loved needlework came
to find out how to
stitch a Jewish quilt.
"Calling All
Generations: Create
and Preserve Your
Family Memories" fea-
tured workshops and
intergenerational pro-
grams and entertain-
ment. The event, spon-
sored by the Jewish
Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit,
was held April 2 at the
Jewish Community
Center in West
Bloomfield.
The Yeshiva Beth
Yehudah Youth Choir
and the Temple Beth El
Klezmer Kids kicked
off the afternoon of
fun. In addition to the
adult workshops, spe-
cial hands-on activities
were offered to the kids.
Sponsored by Jewish
Experiences for Families
(JEFF), the programs
included "Baking with
Bubbe" and "Creating
Jewish Treasure Boxes."
Linda Lee chaired the
