Consultant Rosalind Karby
will give the keynote address at
the conference on "Challenges for
Jewish Women: Maintaining
Tradition." Karby has been a sis-
terhood president, president of
Pacific Northwest Branch, a
national vice president of
Women's League and past chair of
the Canadian Public Affairs
Committee. She is features editor
of Outlook Magazine and director
of the Jewish Community
Foundation of greater Vancouver.
All Conservative Judaism sis-
terhood members are invited to
attend the conference; Ruthe
Goldstein is chairman and Joyce
Weingarten, vice chairman, of the
event.
Also planned are workshops on
membership, Torah Fund, enrich-
ing family traditions, handcrafts,
a Torah study, Mincha service and
