BEN KETAI
Andover
Ketai is a member of National Honor
Society and Leadership Academy. He is cap-
tain of track team and a 1999 state finalist.
He was first in Forensics districts in 1998
and 2nd in regionals 2000. His two feature-
length movies have won state-wide first
place awards. He participated in Habitat for
Humanity and the Maccabi Games. He will
attend the University of Michigan.

YEVGENIYA KLEYMAN
Harrison
Kleyman came from Moscow two years
ago. She is a member of the National
Honor Society, co-captain of tennis, and a
member of Concert Choir. In Moscow,
she was class president two years, won the
Moscow Physics Competition and took
second in biology competition. She will
attend the University of Michigan.

BRETT KIFFERSTEIN
West Bloomfield
Kifferstein is a member of National
Honor Society and tennis team (three
years). He participated in Maccabi Games
and will graduate Temple Israel's
Religious School, where he won the
Stephanie Hope Ellis College Scholarship.
He will attend the University of
Michigan.

SARAH KRUMAN
Berkley
Kruman is a member of the National and
the French honor societies, Future Problem
Solving, and board of Huntington Woods
Friends of the Library. At Temple Emanu. i.
El, she is youth social action vice president
and a teacher aide. I nst year, she attended
American Overseas School of Rome and
was on its soccer team and in the school
play. She will attend Michigan.

CARLY KLEIMAN
Ann Arbor Huron
Kleiman is a member of National Honor
Society and attends Temple Beth Emeth.
She was a member of varsity tennis and a
1999 state champion at No. 1 doubles.
She was also a member of the golf team
during sophomore year. She will attend
the University of Wisconsin or the
University of Michigan.

BRIAN LAFER
North Farmington
Lafer is a member of National Honor
Society, Phi Beta Kappa, Varsity Club,
Northern Lites and Men's Chorus,
American Legion Boy's State, and Temple
Israel. He volunteered at Providence
Hospital. Captain of varsity baseball and
football, he was Academic All-State and won
Superintendent's Award of Excellence. He
will attend Michigan as a Regents Scholar.
