U.S. Senator and Mrs. Carl
(Barbara) Levin and their
daughter Erica were surprised
on a recent trip to Israel, when
relatives there organized a
dedication of the Jewish
National Fund memorial to
Barbara Levin's late father
Benjamin Halpern. Mr.
Halpern made a donation to
JNF in his will and Barbara
Levin stipulated that because
of the urgent need for water,
the funds should be put
toward water preservation at
the Neve Ur Reservoir.
