MARINA POLISHCHUK
Berkley
Polishchuk is a peer mentor, member of
Generation of Promise, and a 1999
Michigan Math Prize Competition final-
ist. She played varsity tennis four years,
earning MVP and All-OAA as a senior.
She is a member of the Russian
Intergenerational Choir at the JCC. She
will attend the University of Michigan
College of Literature, Science and Arts.

BATSHEVA ROBERG
SAA Beth Jacob
Roberg is vice president of Student
Council, Choir director, head of fund-
raising for Bais Yaakov International
Convention and a volunteer at Jewish
Family Service. She won a Wayne State
Presidential and Michigan Competitive
scholarships, and Phi Beta Kappa. She
will study at Bnos Chava Teachers
Seminary and then at Wayne State.

JORDAN POWELL
Andover
Powell played varsity soccer, basketball
and baseball. He is a member of the
National Honor Society writes for the
newspaper, volunteered as a tutor and at
the Lighthouse food program in Pontiac.
He will attend the University of Michigan
College of Literature, Science and Arts.

CARYN ROMAN
Groves
Roman is secretary of NFTY, co-captain
of forensics, member of symphony band
and the state champion Future Problem
Solving. She is active in Kol Ami Temple
Youth and Groves' newspaper, was cited
by National Council of Teachers of
English and placed second at the 1999
MIFA (forensics) state finals. She will
attend Boston University.

NATALIE RAM
Berkley
Ram is a member of the National and
Spanish National honor societies, past
resident of Future Problem Solving, a
National Merit finalist, and won the
Rensselaer Polytechnic medal. She per,
formed in several Berkley drama produc-
tions and was co-president of Habonim
Dror youth group. She will attend
Princeton University.

SHOSHANA ROSE
SAA Beth Jacob
Rose is a member of Phi Beta Kappa,
headed drama and other committees for
Bais Yaakov International Convention,
and was active in Student Council and
drama. She participated in the Friendship
Circle and was a youth group leader in
West Bloomfield. She will attend Me'or
Bais Yaakov in Israel.
