diagnosed with Lou
Gehrig's disease in
April 1998 and par-

this illness at Northwestern

Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Judy

in-law, Lisa and Mark Rosenberg of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren,

and Harold Dean; sister-in-law

SHELDON J. SCOTT, 69, of
Arizona formerly of Detroit, died
April 28. He was an interior design-
er and former senior writer for J.
Walter Thompson Advertising
Agency.
Mr. Scott is survived by his
brothers and sisters-in-law, Morton
and Diane Scholnick, Ivan and
Sandy Scholnick; companion,
Haskel Lentz. He was the beloved
son of the late Nathan and the late
Beatrice Scholnick.

BEATRICE ZIETZ, 79, formerly of

Southfield of Tamarac, Fla., died
April 16. She is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Alan and
Naomi Zietz of Farmington Hills,
Larry Zietz and Darlene Merin of
Plantation, Fla.; grandchildren, Sam
and Sheila Zietz of Wayne, N.J.,
Dave Zietz of Farmington Hills,
Jonathan and Jessica Zietz of
Plantation. She was preceded in

death by her husband of 52 years,
William Zietz; sisters, Frances
Newman, Diane Lichterman, Anne
Wagner; brother David Levine;
granddaughter, Deena Zietz.

ALEX ZUCKMAN, 82, of West
Bloomfield, died April 27.
He is survived by his wife, Anne
