JOSEPH N. BEAN, 93, of Southfield,
died April 13.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, Edwin and Phyllis
Bean of Waterford; grandchildren, A.
Jeffrey (Jackie) Bean, Debra Suzanne
(Dr. James) Gordon, David William -
(Cyndi) Bean, Andrew James (Jody)
Bean; nine great-grandchildren. He
was the beloved husband of the late
Betty Weinberg Bean.
Graveside services were held at the
Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery

BEVERLY BENDEROFF, 67, of
Farmington Hills, died April 16. She
was the co-founder and
owner of First Mortgage
of America. Mrs.
Benderoff belonged to
Temple Israel and City
of Hope, which named
her Woman of the Year.
She was a past presi-
dent of City of Hope,
Beverly
Helen Rosenberg
Beneleroff
Cancer Fighters and she
served in every execu-
tive position with City of Hope.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Andi and David Sklar
of West Bloomfield; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Eric Benderoff and
Sheridan Chaney of Chicago; grand-
children, Binay, Brent and Kimie
Wayburn; brother and sister-in-law,
Howard and Shirley Shapiro of New
Jersey; sister-in-law, Ann Benderoff.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Lawrence Benderoff; loving sister of
the late Rhoda Moran; dear sister-in-
law of the late Dr. Fred Benderoff.
(HARRIET M. BRAININ, 62, of -
ISouthfield, died April 15.
She is survived by her cousins,
arold and Florence Levin, Mickie and
am Orechkin, Toby and Simon Rabin,
ernie and Shirley Powers, Harriet
owers, Tillie Greenberg.

Ms. Cohen is survived by her son,

brother, Kenneth Rosenthal of Florida.

MATTHEW (MATT) ALEXANDER
COLLINS, 21, formerly of West
Bloomfield, died April 5. He was a gui-
tarist. He graduated from
West Bloomfield High
School and served as a
nuclear power propulsion
operator in the U.S.
navy.
He is survived by his
parents, Joan and
Matt

Collins
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.;
brother Roy Sheinwald;
grandfather, Dr. Sidney Kobernick of
Sarasota, Fla.

MARY DAVIDSON, 90, of Southfield,
died April 11.
She is survived by her daughter,

Suzanne Davidson of Brown Deer,
Wis.; sister and brother-in-law, Celia
and Fred Bennett of DeBerry, Fla.;
grandchildren, Abigail, David; brother-
in-law and sister-in-law, Earl and
Sylvia Davidson of Southfield. Mrs.
Davidson was the beloved wife of the
late Samuel Davidson; loving daughter
of the late Abraham Kovitz and the
late Sadie Kovitz.

JONAS DWORIN, 82, of Surfside,
Fla., died April 11.
He is survived by his wife, Maria

sister, Ena Habif of Miami Beach, Fla.;
