Affirming Our Freedom ... Together

PASSOVER'S MESSAGE

`Now we are still enslaved, next year
may all be free...

).)

—The Haggadah

t this season of our birth as a
free people, we are mindful of
our continuing obligation to
those who have yet to secure their own
freedom — from persecution, from hunger,
from ignorance.

Their struggle must be ours as well.
Our faith has taught us to patiently wait
for the Messiah to come, but it has also
taught us that we must work to repair the
world — tikkun olam — while we're waiting.

As we redouble our efforts to improve
the lives of others, may this Passover be
filled with meaning and joy for you and
those you love.
