AUDREY SELIGSON OSTROV,
67, formerly of Detroit of
Cincinnati, Ohio, died April 4. She
was 'a graduate of the University of
Michigan with a bachelor of science
degree in dental hygiene. She prac-
ticed as a dental hygienist in Detroit
and Cincinnati.
Mrs. Ostrov was active in the League
of Women Voters, the National Council
of Jewish Women and the Isaac M.
Wise Temple in Cincinnati.
She is survived by her husband
Herschel; sons, Steven of Tempe,
Ariz., Kenneth of Denver, Colo., and
Daniel of Santa Clara, Calif. She was
the daughter of the late Dr. David and
Connie Sidder Seligson.

SIMON PLAFKIN, 96, of Southfield,
died April 5.
He is survived by his daughters,

Bloomfield. She was the beloved wife
of the late Bernard Plavnick.

BERTRAM J. RISIN, 67, of
Farmington Hills, died April 4. Mr.
Risin was a retired stock broker, a mem-
ber of the Furniture Club of Detroit, a
past football star at Central High School
and an avid sports fan and card player.
He is survived by his wife, Lenore
Risin; children, Audrey Risin of
Florida, Julie Risin and Jayson Rolnick
of Southfield, Mark and Jeri Risin of
Florida, Aaron and Elizabeth Sherbin
of Birmingham, Daniel and Karen
Sherbin of. Farmington Hills, Liz and
Paul Chaben of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren, Katherine, Caroline,
Meredith and Grace Sherbin, Emily
and Jessica Sherbin, Carly and Mara
Chaben; sister, Marlene Levitt of

Moggel. Mr. Risin was the loving
