Temple Hosting
Senior Shabbats

Are you a senior who has enjoyed
the flavor of the Friday night alter-
native service at Temple Israel — the
warmth, the music, the feeling of
sharing a religious experience with
friends and loved ones? Would you
like to have a similar experience on a
Shabbat morning, when it may be
easier to attend?
If so, take note. Temple Israel is
continuing its Senior Shabbat pro-
gram on the mornings of April 29
and June 3. The two alternative
Shabbat services will run from 11
a.m. to noon, with a light lunch fol-
lowing for a donation of $3.
Seniors are welcome to attend the
service, the luncheon, or both. To
reserve a place at the luncheon, send
your request no later than April 21
to: Temple Israel, Attn: Alan Ellias,
5725 Walnut Lake Road, West
Bloomfield, MI 48323. For informa-
tion, call (248) 661-8545.
