GLORIA GITLIN BAER, 87, of West
Bloomfield, died March 30.
She is survived by her sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Dr. Bernard and Dr. Ellen
Gitlin of West Bloomfield, Dr. Kenneth
and Roslyne Gitlin of Orchard Lake;
brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Jane
Sweet of Southfield; grandchildren, Julie
(Michael) Flashner, Jason, Joshua and
Tarin Gitlin; great-grandson, Evan
Flashner. She was the beloved wife of the
late Julius Gitlin.
Services and interment at the
Machpelah Cemetery. Contributions can
be made to the charity of one's choice.

MATTIE "TOOTSIE" BRESSLER,
100, of Southfield, died April 3. Prior to
retirement 35 years ago, Mrs. Bressler was
a secretary for UAL-CIO. She was also a
member of Hadassah and Na'amat.
Mrs. Bressler is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Alan and Ruth Bressler of
Southfield; grandchildren, Charles and
Nancy Bressler, Wendy and Fred Castator;
great-grandchildren, Aliza and Adam
Bressler, Sarah, Rachel and Michael
Castator. She was the beloved wife of the
late Jack Bressler.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

BETTY LEVINE COWAN, 67, of
Farmington Hills, died April 1. She
enjoyed playing bridge and entertaining in
her home.
