JEFFREY DAVID SIEGEL, 40, of Los
Altos, Calif, died March 18. Mr. Siegel
graduated from Michigan State
University and was general manager for
Java Soft Europe, a division of Sun Micro
Systems. He resided in Amsterdam.
He is survived by his wife, Martha;
daughter, Emma of Los Altos; parents,
Marion and James Siegel of Beverly Hills;
brother, Dr., Michael Siegel of Wilmette,
Ill.

Lily Sharon
Jerusalem/JTA — Lily Sharon, 63,
wife of Israeli opposition leader Ariel
Sharon, died March 26.
She and her family immigrated to
Israel from their native Romania in
1962. Her older sister, Margalit, Sharon's
first wife, was killed in an accident in
1962. Lily helped raise the couple's son;
she married Sharon a year later.
